LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Wisconsin–Stout centerfielder Payton Dolecki has been named the recipient of the 2026 NFCA NCAA Division III Gold Glove Award.
Dolecki, a senior from Schaumburg, Ill., was perfect defensively this season for the Blue Devils, recording 60 putouts and 10 outfield assists without committing an error.
In addition to her defensive excellence, Dolecki earned All-WIAC honorable mention honors after batting .350 with a .468 slugging percentage. She collected 45 hits, scored 33 runs and drove in 28 RBI while adding six doubles and four triples. Dolecki also went 14-for-15 on stolen base attempts and led the WIAC with four triples.
Of Dolecki's 10 assists this season, nine came on runners thrown out at the plate, including gunning down the tying run for the final out in the top of the seventh inning against Buena Vista on March 1 and throwing out the potential game-winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning at No. 16 UW-Oshkosh on April 25.
Dolecki becomes the first player in UW-Stout softball history to earn the NFCA Division III Gold Glove Award.
