CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Theo Billson recently competed in the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Singles Championship at Champions Tennis Club on May 23.
He beat Alejandro Gonzales of Kenyon College (Ohio), 6-1, 6-2, in the first round. Billson jumped out early with a 3-0 lead in the first set. After his opponent grabbed the fourth game, Billson won another three straight games to clinch the first set.
