TEMPE, Ariz. -- Five Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) men’s tennis programs have secured Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic honors for the 2025-26 academic year, while 38 WIAC individuals were named ITA Scholar Athletes.
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Whitewater and The College of New Jersey collected team honors by having a team grade point average of 3.20 or above.
Conference individuals claiming the honor included: UW-Eau Claire’s Juan Gallego, Billy Hughes, Ethan Leeser, Emilio Monge, Andrew Mueller, Sam Murillo and Pablo Rincon; UW-La Crosse’s Cole Contardi, Anderson Fortney, Jack Hehli, Kyle Hehli, Luke Hinchcliffe, Brady Horstmann and Tyle Schneider; UW-Stevens Point’s Dawson Froemming, Anthony Janes, Cooper Meyer, Augie Nelson, Daniel Olson, Gianni Racanelli, Alexander Sedlacek and Jacob Stinski; UW-Whitewater’s Theo Billson, Andrew Dumbauld, Julius Jonsson, Gavin Kelleher, Charlie Morgan, Seth Smigel and Parker Sprague; and The College of New Jersey’s Sidd Arudi, Curt Gruber, Logan Knasiak, Max Loia, Harrison Maitland-Carter, Max Nussbaum, Brett Schuster, Alberto Thomas and Asa Wong.
To be named an ITA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
