COVID-19 Specific Information and Services

The Goodman Community Center has had to close its doors to the public in the wake of the coronavirus, but it is very much still serving the greater Madison community. In addition to supporting our students, families and older adults from a distance, GCC is ensuring the most vulnerable in our community continue to have a secure source of food.

We have converted our weekly food pantry to a drive-thru model, and we are also delivering meals to children and families in the Darbo/Worthington and Brentwood neighborhoods, as well as the Carbon and Generations apartments at Union Corners. See below for more information.

FOOD PANTRY
Pre-packaged bags (mostly non-perishable items) will be available for drive-thru or walk-up distribution outside in the Ironworks driveway circle (149 Waubesa St.).

Tuesday 9:30 am - noon
Wednesday 6 pm - 8 pm
Thursday 12:30 pm - 3 pm

MEAL DELIVERY
For delivery in the Darbo/Worthington & Brentwood neighborhoods, contact Sara at 608-807-4984 or sara@goodmancenter.org. Include your address and how many meals you’d like in your message. Meals will be delivered to your doorstep between 3:30 and 4:30pm.

For delivery to Carbon & Generations apartment homes, contact Fran Augustine at 608-242-4400 or faugustine@gormanusa.com. Meals will be delivered between 3:30 and 4:30pm to the community room.
