COVID-19 Specific Information and Services

Silica began in 1922 in Silica, WI catering to the needs of local farmers by specializing in hardware and household goods. Through the years, the business grew and now specializes in appliances, electronics and grills. The Fond du Lac location also specializes in furniture and bedding. Sales, service and delivery are all done by in-house Silica employees. Silica is a family owned business and is currently in its 4th generation of ownership with locations in Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam and Watertown.

To Our Valued Customers:

The safety and well being of our customers and employees have always been a top priority at Silica. With all the uncertainty that the world is currently facing, we understand how critical it is for us to make sure we are doing our part to ensure a high level of safety as possible.

Here is what you can expect from Silica:

• We are providing hand sanitizer and/or wipes to be available for all of our customers and employees. Each hour, we are wiping down all of the door handles, phones, computer keyboards and countertops.

• We have provided gloves and disinfectant wipes for all of our delivery teams and service technicians to assure they are sanitizing their hands prior to entering a customer’s home.

• We have notified every employee that they should stay home if they are showing symptoms of the Coronavirus.

• We continue to monitor any new developments from the CDC and will follow their guidelines as information becomes available to us.
