Traffic on Verona Road will be shifted to the east side of the highway beginning Friday night, and will stay that way until May 20.
The shift will put northbound traffic from McKee Road to Raymond Road on newly completed interchange ramps, while southbound traffic will be in the current northbound lanes.
The shift is necessary so work can be done on the new west side, or southbound, lanes of Verona Road, which include the future interchange ramps at Williamsburg Way and McKee Road.

Nighttime lane closures and traffic movements will occur during the week before the major shift is undertaken, so drivers should be alert to changing traffic patterns.
Nightly single-lane closures continue on Verona Road from the Fitchrona Road underpass north to Raymond Road, and on McKee Road between Fitchrona Road and Spoke Drive.
The massive Verona Road/McKee Road project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2020.
