Stoughton junior Hunter Lewis recently returned from competing in a wrestling tournament in Sweden where he won a bronze medal at 54 kg/119 pounds in the Cadet division.

Lewis was runner-up at 106 pounds last season at the WIAA Division 1 state wrestling tournament. He is a Cadet Greco national champion.

Lewis won the bronze medal at the Malar Cupen earlier in November in Vasteras, Sweden, making him a two-time bronze medalist at the event, Stoughton co-coach Bob Empey said.

“It was a great experience,” Lewis said about the competition, which included numerous teams from Europe, including Scandinavia.
