Keishawn Shanklin led a second-half comeback Thursday night that gave the Madison West boys basketball team a 90-76 victory over visiting Janesville Parker in the final game of the regular season.

West (3-19 overall, 2-16 Big Eight Conference) wiped out a 13-point halftime deficit as Shanklin, a senior, scored 28 points and made three 3-pointers.

Also for West, Dayne Armwald added 15 points.

For Parker (2-20, 1-17), Chris Galvan had four 3s among his 26 points, and Kavion Ellison had 16 points.

Sophomore Jalen Johnson scored 18 points and senior Marlon Ruffin had 17 points as the visiting Cardinals (21-1, 17-1), second-ranked in Division 1 by The Associated Press, beat the Lancers (17-5, 13-5) for their 17th consecutive victory.

Junior Troy Reeves Jr. and sophomore Isaiah Stewart scored 13 points apiece and senior Anthony West had 12 for ninth-ranked La Follette.

Sophomore Colin Schaefer and senior Taylor Jansen each tallied 12 points for Sun Prairie.

Also for East, sophomore Keonte Jones scored 19 points and senior Earl Lewis had nine points.

Senior Alan Roden tallied 14 points and senior Brogan Brunker added 12 for Middleton.
