The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Gonzaga High product rates as a three-star prospect by every major recruiting site and could play either wide receiver or cornerback for the Badgers.

Engram, who took an unofficial visit to UW in March before his latest trip to Madison, also reportedly had offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Boston College and others. He's the son of former Nittany Lions wide receiver Bobby Engram.

Dean Engram became the Badgers' 10th commitment in their 2019 recruiting class, joining offensive linemen Logan Brown and Joe Tippmann, quarterback Graham Mertz, tight end Hayden Rucci, athletes Leo Chenal and Marcus Graham, running back Julius Davis, defensive tackle Keeanu Benton and cornerback James Williams.
