The University of Wisconsin football team remained at No. 5 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls after its 38-13 win over Maryland on Saturday.

Alabama maintained the top spot in the both polls, followed by Penn State, Georgia and TCU.

The Badgers' victory Saturday moved them to 7-0 on the year. They're one of eight FBS teams still undefeated, along with the four teams ranked ahead of them, Miami, South Florida and UCF.

The first College Football Playoff rankings will be released Oct. 31, after UW's game at Illinois this week.
