Try 3 months for $3

UW picked up its fifth commitment in its 2019 recruiting class Saturday night when Fort Wayne, Ind., offensive lineman Joe Tippmann announced his desire to play for the Badgers on Twitter.

Tippmann, a 6-foot-6, 285-pound lineman from Bishop Dwenger High, is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals and chose UW over offers from Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, Cincinnati and others.

He joins running back Julius Davis, offensive lineman Logan Brown, quarterback Graham Mertz and linebacker Leo Chenal as scholarship commitments in the Badgers’ 2019 recruiting class.
