The University of Wisconsin football program picked up its first commitment of the 2019 class Sunday.

Grantsburg native Leo Chenal received an offer from the Badgers when visiting Saturday’s game against Florida Atlantic and committed less than 24 hours later, BadgerNation reported.

UW has yet to determine a position for the 6-foot-2, 215-pound, three-sport athlete, who hails from a Division 6 school with of an enrollment of around 260.

Chenal also had an offer from South Dakota State and was receiving interest from Iowa and Minnesota, according to BadgerNation.
