J.J. Watt

Texans defensive end and former UW athlete J.J. Watt scored five touchdowns this season en route to the second AP Defensive Player of the Year award of his four-year career.

Currently there are 32 former University of Wisconsin football players on NFL rosters.

Teams can hold as many as 90 players on its roster during the offseason before an initial cut to 75 after the third preseason game. Following the final preseason games, NFL teams must reduce its roster to 53 players.
