The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team has been just about average for the past six weeks.

In each of those weeks as the No. 23 Badgers (16-8, 10-7) have won one game and lost another. UW will have some time to rest before entering a three-game gauntlet to end the regular season. It starts with hosting No. 5 Illinois at 1 p.m. Saturday, and wraps up next week with a road trips to Purdue (8 p.m. Tuesday) and No. 9 Iowa (11:30 a.m., March 7).
