The Wisconsin State Journal's Empty Stocking Club is looking for volunteers to help at its annual toy giveaway on Dec. 17, 18 and 19.
Each year, the charity collects money from State Journal readers and uses it to buy new toys for children in need. For 100 years, the goal has been to make sure each child in the area has at least one nice gift to open at Christmastime.
Volunteer shifts include unloading and stocking toys or working with families receiving toys. Please sign up here to help.
Last year, the Empty Stocking Club gave away more than 15,000 toys and helped about 4,000 families.
The Toy Depot will be held at the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall.
