The headline on the July 3 story about teacher's health care costs after Act 10 read: “Data: Teachers’ costs soared.” The headline could just as easily have read: “Teachers' cost comparable to private sector.”

This was one of the goals of Act 10, so I’m not sure it should be a surprise to anyone. What the article does not address is whether overall health care costs have increased or decreased.
