I am writing to praise Eric Frydenlund's column, which appears in the Wisconsin State Journal about once every month.
PRAIRIE DU CHIEN — “This is truly a beautiful part of the world,” said the lady standing on the Pikes Peak overlook near McGregor, Iowa.
I look forward to the very articulate way he uses words. His recent submission on May 26, "Nature is the unflappable carrier of optimism," was one of his best.

When he described his springtime jaunt, I observed an abundance of his descriptive phrasing, which I like to call poetic prose. He is a master of it. His writing comes alive. It's almost like being with him. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he also delves into poetry.
Thank you, Eric Frydenlund. I look forward to your next column.
