Act 10 raised our insurance costs -- Therese Lipinski

The result of Act 10 was Gov. Scott Walker raising insurance costs on state workers.

I’m not sure if people are aware what a retired state worker with almost 40 years of service can be paying. Nothing says "thank you for your service" more than charging $750 a month for a single plan. These premiums can cost more than $2,000 a month for two people. 

Premiums are extremely high before a person turns 65 and can then get on Medicare. This is why we need "Medicare for All."
