Republicans, led by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, have called an extraordinary lame-duck session of the Legislature. The main priority appears to restricting the authority of the newly elected attorney general and governor, who are both Democrats. This is clearly undermining the will of the voters in Wisconsin who voted for split government in the recent midterm election.
