Badger Honor Flight: A steak feed to raise funds for the Badger Honor Flight program will be held from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Slice’s Bar and Grill, 2417 Pennsylvania Ave. The cost is $17 per person, which includes the meal, door prizes and raffles. Halloween party: Arc-Dane County will hold its annual Halloween party on Oct. 26 from 1-4 p.m. at Pooley’s, 5441 High Crossing Blvd. Advance tickets are required and are available until Oct. 14. For information see www.arcdanecounty.org.

Church anniversary: Members of the London Moravian Church, located between Cambridge and Lake Mills, will celebrate the congregation’s 125th anniversary on Sunday. Events include worship with a musical prelude beginning at 9:45 a.m., followed by a meal. All those confirmed at the church over the years are invited to attend.

Scholarships: The Wisconsin Council on Children and Families selected Alyssa Ivy and David Reeves Jr. of La Follette High School and Synovia Knox of Madison West High School winners of the 2014 “Race to Equity” Scholarships. Each student received a one-time scholarship to be used to support secondary education or vocational training.

Tiffany J. Kuntz and Courtney L. Varner, both sponsored by P.E.O. Chapter BC, have received continuing education grants from the P.E.O. International organization. Kuntz will pursue a nursing degree and Varner a reading specialist degree. The organization supports higher education for women.

The Polish Heritage Club of Wisconsin Inc., Madison Group, has awarded scholarships to four area students. They are Jessica L. Bowden, Claire I. Wisniewski, James M. Dodge and Lauren E. Paul.

Reunion: The DeForest High School Class of 1959 will have a luncheon at noon on Oct. 29 at BB Jack’s, 300 E. Holum St., DeForest. For information contact BillNoltemeyer,
