The Wisconsin Supreme Court will hold oral arguments April 17 and 20 on three challenges to the stalled investigation into Gov. Scott Walker's recall campaign.
The court agreed Wednesday to hear the arguments on three cases that question the legality of the John Doe investigation into whether Walker's campaign coordinated with purportedly independent political groups during the 2011 and 2012 recalls and whether such activity, if it occurred, would be illegal.

In December, the court decided to accept the cases and consolidated them for the sake of argument. Briefs filed in the Supreme Court earlier this month remain sealed while the parties decide which portions should be made public.
