A drunken driver was injured early Wednesday morning when she crashed her vehicle into a parked car on the city's Near East Side.
The crash happened at about 1 a.m. in the Spaight Street and South Ingersoll Street area, Madison police said.
Police determined the unidentified driver, a 25-year-old Madison woman, had been driving recklessly and struck a parked car, causing her vehicle to flip over.
"She was pinned in the vehicle, and the Madison Fire Department was able to extract her," said Lt. Gregory Esser.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injures.
She was arrested for a second offense OWI and a variety of driving-related offenses.
