Two men have been arrested in Beloit for allegedly dealing heroin and cocaine.

Markis Crenshaw, 30, and Deon Young, 42, were arrested and booked into the Rock County Jail, Beloit police said.

Crenshaw was arrested Friday following a search of a residence in the 1900 block of Saint Lawrence Avenue.

He faces tentative charges of delivering cocaine and heroin, possession with intent to deliver heroin and cocaine and maintaining a drug trafficking place.

Young was arrested Tuesday after a search of a residence in the 700 block of Euclid Avenue.

The arrests were made in collaboration with the Division of Criminal Investigation from the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

"The Beloit Police Department has an excellent working relationship with DCI," said Beloit Police Chief David Zibolski.

"We continue to partner with the state on large-scale investigations and operations, in order to bring individuals like Crenshaw and Young to Justice," Zibolski said.
