Madison Police say a woman armed with a knife robbed a Southeast Side gas station Tuesday morning.

A woman armed with a knife stole smoking products from a Southeast Side gas station Tuesday morning, Madison Police said.

The suspect entered a BP gas station, 4624 Monona Drive, at about 6:10 a.m., telling a clerk that she was robbing the store, said Madison Police spokesman Joel DeSpain.

The suspect took more than $250 of smoking products before leaving in a tan sedan, potentially a Buick, without a rear license plate, he said.
