Vehicle hit by gunfire on East Side Monday morning, Madison police say

A vehicle was hit by gunfire on the East Side on Monday morning, Madison police reported.

Shortly after 11 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Milwaukee Street and Oak Street, officer Michael Malloy said in a report.

In an unfortunate event your identity was stolen, here are nine tips to help you recover your identity, according to the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).

Arriving officers found a vehicle struck by gunfire and shell casings, but no injuries were reported, Malloy said.
