Madison firefighters were called to free more than 20 people stuck in a student apartment building elevator early Sunday morning. Nobody was hurt in the incident.

According to the Madison Fire Department:

The stalled elevator was at the Hub Apartments, an upscale high-rise building at 437 Frances St. that opened in August.

Firefighters first shut down power to the car, then opened the hoistway door and the car doors to let the trapped people out.
