A suspect flashed a gun during a disturbance on the Far East Side on Monday night, Madison police reported.

Officers were sent to 3900 block of East Washington Avenue on a report of a weapons violation shortly before 5:15 p.m. Monday, Sgt. Luke Lengfeld

The victim told officers that they were involved in a disturbance with a suspect who displayed a firearm, then fled before police arrived, Lengfeld said.
