REO Speedwagon will headline the June 22 concert at Breese Stevens Field that will be held in conjunction with the PGA Tour Champions American Family Insurance Championship, the company announced Thursday.
The opening artists include 2011 Academy of Country Music’s top female vocalist award winner Sara Evans, and up-and-coming country artists A Thousand Horses.
Tickets will go on sale March 23 at 10 a.m.
All proceeds will benefit the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation to be distributed to American Family Children’s Hospital and other charitable organizations. In its first two years, championship has raised more than $2.7 million for more than 100 charitable organizations.
“We’re happy to offer for a second year another excellent concert experience for tournament fans, and all fans of both classic rock and country as part of the American Family Insurance Championship,” tournament director Nate Pokrass said in a statement. “What a great way to enjoy a summer music experience in an historic Madison venue, while helping raise money to support local charities that do important work to benefit our communities.”
