Summit Credit Union's Kim Sponem named to Chicago Fed panel

Kim Sponem, chief executive of Summit Credit Union, Madison, has been appointed to a three-year term on an advisory council to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Sponem will represent the credit union industry on the Community Depository Institutions advisory council which meets twice a year to present information about local business and financial conditions.

Summit is the largest credit union based in Madison, with $2.1 billion in assets, and second largest in Wisconsin, behind only Landmark Credit Union, New Berlin.
