As of Aug. 1, Mid America Bank -- a Janesville bank with a Madison location -- will be part of Advia Credit Union, based in Parchment, Michigan.

Advia, chartered in 1935, has $1.2 billion in assets and 125,000 members, according to the National Credit Union Administration. Advia has 22 locations in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin, including two locations in Beloit and one in Janesville from the acquisition of First American Credit Union, Beloit, in 2010.

Mid America, established in 1910 as Footville State Bank, has assets of $82.9 million, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., with branches in Janesville and Williams Bay and loan offices in Madison, at 342 Junction Road, and in Waukesha.

Advia said it will expand the loan offices to full-service branches after the two financial institutions complete their computer systems integration in October.

Mike Jones, president and CEO of Mid America Bank, will serve as Advia's regional vice president of the Wisconsin and Illinois region.
