The 2018 United States Capitol Christmas Tree, cut from the Willamette National Forest, will be in the Ameren Thanksgiving Day Parade in St. Louis. The Tree is making stops along the Lewis and Clark trail on its way to D.C. The tree is show in this video on a recent stop leaving Albany, Oregon. A gift from the Willamette National Forest and the State of Oregon to the people of the United States, the tree will be displayed on the West Lawn of the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., with a public tree-lighting ceremony in early December 2018.
