If Friday night;s 34-3 win over Western Kentucky serves as a sign of what’s to come, the Badgers should be able to survive without one of their most talented cornerbacks.
The Badgers defense seemed to lose some of its spark after halftime, but it lost none of its grit, refusing to let the Hilltoppers reach the end zone despite multiple opportunities close to the goal line.
While the Badgers’ vaunted offense didn’t pile on points right away, fourth-ranked Wisconsin still eased past Western Kentucky, 34-3, to open one of its most anticipated seasons ever.
