University of Wisconsin inside linebacker T.J. Edwards, left tackle Michael Deiter and running back Jonathan Taylor all earned second-team All-American honors from Sporting News on Tuesday.

Edwards, who earned first-team honors from the Associated Press on Monday, recorded 75 tackles, 11 for a loss, two sacks, four interceptions and one touchdown this season.

Taylor, a second-team selection by the AP, ranks third nationally in rushing with 1,847 yards and has also scored 13 touchdowns. Deiter started 13 games and made a smooth transition to tackle after playing center and guard the previous two seasons.
