With the NFL draft just more than three months away, a number of former University of Wisconsin football players are preparing for a number of showcase games.

Four former Badgers will play in the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Saturday. Joel Stave is one of three quarterbacks on the East team. Safety Michael Caputo, offensive lineman Tyler Marz and fullback Derek Watt will play for the West.

The game will be broadcast on NFL Network at 3 p.m.

Linebacker Jesse Hayes will play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Carson, California, at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Linebacker Joe Schobert is the lone former Badger playing in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, on Jan. 30. The game will be broadcast at 1:30 p.m. on NFL Network.

Three days of Senior Bowl practice start on Tuesday. Over the last five years, the Badgers have had 15 players compete in the Senior Bowl, with 13 of them being selected in the NFL draft.

Tanner McEvoy participated in the College Gridiron Showcase in Bedford, Texas, last week.
