Wade Miley continues to impress in his audition for a spot in the Milwaukee Brewers’ rotation.
The veteran left-hander, who signed as a free agent, allowed three runs — all unearned — in 3 2/3 innings in a 6-4 loss to the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday in Glendale, Arizona.
Miley allowed two hits and walked one, striking out four. Following the second of two throwing errors by Orlando Arcia, Miley allowed a two-run double to Avisail Garcia before departing.
Miley has not allowed an earned run in eight innings, striking out 11 and walking one, this spring.
Travis Shaw provided the offense for the Brewers with his first two home runs of the spring.
