“We’re very happy for Jeremy. He’ll start his new job on Aug. 29,” Dahmen said.
Schlitz has served as the boys and girls golf coach, boys tennis coach and sophomore boys basketball coach but will have to relinquish his coaching duties.
“Athletic directors are not allowed to coach,” Dahmen said. “So we’ll have to make a few adjustments along the way.”
