More About All Pets Veterinary Clinic
Effective immediately, the following precautionary measures will be taken:
• In an attempt to limit any person-to-person contact, we are transitioning to “curbside” visits when possible.
What you should do when you arrive at the clinic with your pet:
o Call the clinic phone at 608-831-1392 when you arrive at the parking lot.
o Please remain in your vehicle with your pet.
o A member of our team will do your appointment check-in over the phone. At the end of the phone conversation, a staff member will meet you in the parking lot to bring your pet into the building for the exam (we will use a clinic provided slip leash).
o After the doctor completes the exam, you will receive a phone call to discuss recommendations and a plan moving forward.
o Once the exam and any treatments for your pet are completed, we will call you again to complete the discharge process.
o If you are unable to find an appointment time that works with your schedule, we can offer a medical day admit for your pet.
• In the case of an accompanied exam, we kindly request:
o Only ONE client in the exam room to reduce exposure.
o Practice social distancing and remain seated on the bench within the exam room to help provide a six foot distance
• Need medications, scripts, or food?
o Call the clinic at 608-831-1392 to request these items prior to coming to the clinic. At that time, a staff member can help you check out and give you an estimated time for pick up.
o Again, call the clinic when you arrive and we will deliver these items to your car.
Additional things to remember:
o No handshakes. We ask that you avoid personal contact with our staff to help limit the spread of germs. We have asked our staff to follow this same policy for your health.
o If you are feeling sick or have been exposed to COVID-19, you will be required to medically admit your pet with a curbside visit. We also ask that you do not bring your pet to the clinic and identify another individual to act on your behalf.
o Consider rescheduling non-essential appointments until the community spread has lessened.
Thank you for entrusting us with your pet’s care and for understanding the precautions needed to keep everyone safe and healthy. Please know a great deal of thought went into these decisions as our highest priority is the health of staff, clients, and patients. We truly appreciate your flexibility in reducing the transmission of this virus.
Please continue to check in with the Centers for Disease Control (cdc.gov) as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association (avma.org) for further information.
Stay aware and healthy,
