I am usually quick to complain when I don’t get the level of customer service that I expect, so it is only fitting that when someone goes above and beyond that I recognize excellent customer service.
Our carrier, Jim Selin, not only had the paper at our mailbox each and every morning of the past several weeks of snow, ice and cold, but this last Sunday he did something remarkable.
The driveway was very icy early in the morning, so I decided to wait a while before walking down to the road to get the paper. A few minutes later I heard the doorbell ring, and Jim was at our door to hand me the paper. He deserves a lot of credit for this level of dedication.
