DEFOREST - Emily M. Cliff, age 24, ascended into heaven at Agrace HospiceCare on Monday, May 5, 2014, after a 12 year battle with cancer.
Emily was born on Aug. 15, 1989, at St. Mary's Hospital, to Maurice and Kristi Cliff. She graduated from DeForest High School and attended MATC. Emily was very artistic and loved to draw, make jewelry, sing, and paint. She loved animals. No week was complete without a trip to Animart to hold puppies and pet bunnies. Emily was a gentle soul and was loved by everybody she came in contact with. Despite what she was going through, she always had a smile and never complained. Emily was an inspiration to so many people and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She has a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and we can all take comfort knowing that she is in His arms.
Emily is survived by her parents; stepfather, Rudy Bott; sisters, Caitlin Cliff and Tessa Vike; brother, Jason Vike; grandparents, Marilynn Bunnell and Marguerite Mullikin. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dean Bunnell, Norbert Wills, and Amon Mullikin; and grandmothers, Nan Wills and Stella Cuff.
A service will be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest, on Friday, May 9, 2014, at 12 noon. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Norway Grove Cemetery.
