JANESVILLE—Patricia M. Broadbent, age 78, a longtime resident of Janesville, passed away Monday afternoon, Nov. 6, 2017, at her home following a brief illness. She was born July 17, 1939, in Muscoda, Wis. She attended school in Muscoda, and was a graduate of Muscoda High School.
On Oct. 19, 1957, she married Stanley A. Broadbent in Muscoda. Stan preceded her in death on March 11, 2017.
Pat worked as a secretary for Parker Pen Co., with the Fugate Insurance Co., for Dr. Betlach, and at the Janesville Radiologists.
She enjoyed camping and the family vacations with her husband and girls. They owned land at “The Farm” outside of Boscobel, and that was their “little corner of Heaven”! Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, but especially with her three grandchildren and her great-grandson!
She is survived by her three daughters, Carla L. (John) Rogers of Pomona, Calif., Catherine A. (Dennis) White of Janesville, and Leiann J. (Donald) Lindelein of Roanoke, Ind.; her three beloved grandchildren, Quinn (Lindsay) White of Chicago, Ill., Aidan White of Janesville, and Danielle (fiancé, Dan Lupo) Lindelein of Clinton Township, Mich.; her dear great-grandson, Dean “Deano” White; nieces, nephews, and friends. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her mom, Agnes Prochaska Kalish.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, with the Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the the FUNERAL HOME.
