On this week's episode of Rewind: Your Week in Review, WisconsinEye host and Capital Times Reporter Briana Reilly and WisPolitics.com editor JR Ross discuss the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling on voter rolls. As reported by Briana Reilly, justices in a 5-2 ruling found a lower court erred in seeking to remove thousands of voters identified as having moved from the state's rolls. The majority agreed it's up to local clerks, not the Wisconsin Elections Commission, to remove so-called "movers"" from the list. WEC opted to wait until after the April 2021 election to removed them after past issues in which some individuals were misidentified as having moved. WEC data shows while 230,000 voters were originally identified as movers, the list is now down to around 70,000, none of whom voted in the 2020 presidential election.
