On January 22, Governor Tony Evers (D) delivered his first State of the State Address and highlighted his budget proposals. Gov. Evers discussed returning education funding to two-thirds, seeking Medicaid expansion, directing Attorney General Josh Kaul (D) to withdraw from the ACA lawsuit and cutting middle class taxes by capping 80 percent of a corporate tax that goes to filers making over 1 million per year.
