A truck driver was seriously injured Wednesday when his vehicle was struck by a dump truck in Dodge County.

Anthony Milons, 29, Milwaukee, was flown by Flight for Life helicopter to Aurora Summit Hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries in the crash reported at about 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Highways 175 and 28 near Theresa.

A hospital spokesperson said Milons is in critical condition Wednesday.

According to the State Patrol, Milons was stopped at a stop sign on westbound Highway 28 when he pulled his truck out into the intersection and hit the southbound dump truck driven by Aspen Jacobson, 41, Steuben.

Jacobson was not injured.

No citations were issued pending more investigation.
