Two people who allegedly held up a Janesville gas station then got into a standoff with law enforcement at their home near Milton were arrested by SWAT officers Thursday morning.

Eric Fenne, 27, and Rache Boyd, 22, were taken into custody without incident, the Rock County Sheriff's Office said.

Fenne was tentatively charged with domestic violence strangulation and false imprisonment, failure to comply with police and being a felon in possession of a firearm, and Boyd was tentatively charged with endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The two also are possible suspects in a shooting Wednesday night in Madison where a front glass door was shot out at a residence.

The armed robbery at a Stop n Go on Center Avenue in Janesville happened at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Boyd and Fenne went back to their home at 2306 East Highway M in the town of Milton, and allegedly assaulted their female roommate, who left the home and called police, authorities said.

Sheriff Robert Spoden said deputies arrived and set up a perimeter, but the suspects wouldn't come out, so the SWAT team was called in.

Boyd surrendered around 11 a.m. Thursday and Fenne gave himself up shortly after gas canisters were tossed into the basement of the home.

Both are due in court Nov. 13.
