Effective dates: May 1-29
Summary: Extends social distancing guidelines and certain business closures while phasing in plans to reopen the economy, beginning with health care providers, veterinarians, and dentists on May 1. On May 4, general offices, manufacturing, distribution and construction businesses reopened. On May 12, consumer and retail services can reopen after being limited to curbside pickup and delivery. Under the plan, businesses must follow safety protocols, limit capacity to 50% and immediately report infections to health officials. Schools, dine-in restaurants, bars, and beauty/personal health businesses and entertainment, recreation facilities and gyms will remain closed.
