Madisonians packed the new Central Library on Thursday night for "Stacked," a fundraiser that offered a sneak peak of the renovated building.
A long line of people snaked alongside the new Central Library on Thursday night. Despite the rainy conditions, hundreds were eager to get a sneak peak of the renovated building.

The Bubbler is the new Maker-space at the Central Library. It will hold pop-up workshops on everything from the science of cheesemaking (on Sept. 28) to Kanji drawing (Oct. 26). At "Stacked," visitors were invited to hang out in the Bubbler and pick up a hammer, nails and thread, to create these small works of art.
