Lindsay Christians covers theater, dance, opera, classical music and visual art as well as food and wine for 77 Square.
Lindsay moved to Wisconsin from San Luis Obispo, Calif. in 2006 to pursue a Master of Arts in Theatre Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also has a BA in Journalism from Michigan State University (2002).
In 2009, Lindsay attended the O’Neill Theater Center National Critics Institute. In 2010, she traveled to Los Angeles for the NEA Arts Journalism Institute in Theater and Musical Theater at USC-Annenberg. Since 2009, she has led the Overture Center Tommy Awards' Student Critics Program.
Lindsay loves musical theater, theater in strange places and public art. She also likes farmers markets, baking, new cookbooks and food-centric travel. She is a co-founder of WASTED: Wine Tasters in Madison (est. 2007) and pours tastings occasionally at Barriques.
Lindsay lives on the east side of Madison with her pianist husband and their two cats.
