Sarah Palin won't be here but Joe the Plumber will be.
Tea Party Express III, the nationwide bus tour undertaken by the so-called Tea Party movement, will be in Madison Tuesday night, holding a rally at 6 p.m. at 2310 Crossroads Drive, next to the University of Phoenix on the far east side.
Joe the Plumber, aka Sam Wurzelbacher, will be the chief rally rouser in Madison, and also will lead the tea partiers in Milwaukee and Green Bay on Wednesday.
Wurzelbacher gained notoriety questioning Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama in the 2008 campaign, and was then enlisted to help the John McCain-Sarah Palin Republican ticket.
The star of the road trip is the former Alaska governor, Sarah Palin, who kicked off the 20-day bus tour in Searchlight, Nevada (hometown of U.S. Sen. Harry Reid), and will be the big name at the Boston Tea Party rally on April 14. The trip ends in Washington on Tax Day, April 15.
