The Corner Table is a podcast about food and drink in Madison, produced by The Capital Times. On Tuesday at the Old Sugar Distillery's new Rickhouse space, host Lindsay Christians chatted with a guest, chef Nyanyika Banda, who graduated from West High School and culinary school at Madison College before exploring the New York culinary world at Mission Chinese Food and WD-50. Banda's highly acclaimed Duluth restaurant Martha's Daughter closed its doors this past spring but will reappear in a series of traveling pop-ups, including a collaboration with Morris Ramen coming this fall.
