“Producing real life images has been a passion of mine for many years. My focus is to capture subjects as natural and clearly as possible. Clarity is what I generally prefer in my images. When photographing wildlife I try to capture certain behaviors and unique poses including birds feeding, fighting or moving. I enjoy photographing many different subjects but I always come back to birds because they are so fascinating and beautiful. When photographing people or landscapes I attempt to capture interesting local culture. I’m partial to photos of the Madison Skyline from various vantage points. It always brings out the beauty of our great city of Madison.” – Michael Engelberger
